A Dream Coming True...

LeVar Burton, one of my heroes, read my story “Those Fantastic Lives” on his incredible podcast today. The whole thing is humbling and wonderful and just so incredible. I feel unworthy truthfully, but I’m so, so grateful for this, well, gift.

Stories saved me. They gave me a place that I could understand—that I could escape to.

For me, LeVar Burton reading my story is just something that I will never ever forget.
